Job Title: .Net Architect / Team Lead
Overview:
Architect / Lead to join the development team supporting client's banking platform. You will be responsible for execution and implementation of complex projects, implementing standards and processes to improve quality and efficiency, and mentoring developers to improve overall code quality and consistency. The .Net Architect / Lead will be critical to helping the team transition along with the system as it transitions from one technology platform to another.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team of developers on complex technology projects and enhancements to existing applications
- Help drive quality and efficiency into development processes
- Consult with analysts to identify solutions to requirements
- Be a senior-level contributor, doing some hands-on coding
- Review code implemented by developers, including offshore developers
- Mentor and coach developers to maintain standards and continually improve overall code quality
- Resolve issues and remove roadblocks that affect development
- Estimate effort to implement projects and enhancements
- Provide subject matter expertise for the loan origination process and loan origination systems
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in various Microsoft .NET technologies, including .Net Core (conversion / migration), C#, REST Web APIs, Web Development, SQL Server
- Senior-level experience leading complex projects across multiple domains
- Experience with Amazon AWS services such as EC2, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and Lambda
- Experience with relational database optimization (SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL)
- Senior level understanding of advanced development concepts and patterns
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and agile practices
- Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
- Prior leadership experience or ability to demonstrate readiness for leadership
- Banking / financial services industry experience highly desirable
Compensation: $85.00 - $100.00 per hour
